Troops capture 2.5km in Chalmpan- Marattikannaddi road in Mannar

Today (26) between 8.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. troops captured 2.5km in CHALMPAN - MARATTIKANNADDI road on ANDANKULAM to VEDITHALATHIEV road.

Due to the capture MANNAR to PUNAREEN supply roots of LTTE has been cut off.

Twelve LTTE terrorists were killed while no casualties reported to the Army due to the confrontations.
